Boston ferns have long been a popular houseplant, even treated as an annual in some areas, but this isn't just any Boston Fern! This is a 'Tiger Eye' Boston Fern. The foliage is long and arching like the true Boston Fern, but it's chartreuse instead of green and variegated. Individual leaflets can be striped with apple green and chartreuse coloring, some are even solid chartreuse.
Being a fern (Nephrolepis), this plant thrives in low-medium light (northern-eastern exposure) and prefers the soil to be consistently moist. Keep in mind that standing water is never beneficial when it comes to 'Tiger Eye'.
