Commonly known as the "Pink Quill Plant," this is one of the easiest air plantsto grow! It's a terrestrial species, meaning that it can be grown in a mix of soil and orchid bark (anything that drains well, yet holds a bit of moisture).
Care is pretty simple, too. Provide them with plenty of bright light, but not indirect. Usually an eastern or western window is sufficient. A room with a southern exposure would work as long as it's not directly in the window. Keep the soil moist!
Since these plants are epiphytes, they do primarily absorb nutrients through their foliage. So, we recommend fertilizing them with our Tillandsia Fertilizer.
Our plants are all in low spike, meaning a bloom spike has begun to emerge. You can choose to have the plants shipped with or without soil. If you do not have much experience in air plants or can't provide consistently high humidity (around 75%), we suggest purchasing the plants with soil.
